Hi, I’m Maree, a calm, friendly and professional celebrant helping couples across Bellingen, the Coffs Coast, Northern NSW and the Gold Coast create meaningful moments that reflect who they truly are.

I’m the one who’ll laugh with your nan, gently calm your nerves, wrangle a nervous groom, and cry (quietly!) behind my ceremony folder when you say your vows.

Originally from the Sutherland Shire (yes, I had the beach at my doorstep), I made the tree change to the stunning Dorrigo Plateau a few years ago with my family and I haven’t looked back. These days, I’m all about rainforest walks, ocean dips, market mornings, and soaking up the beauty of the Mid North Coast.

So, how did I end up becoming a celebrant?
Because I love love.
I love stories.
And I really love a good celebration.

After training with Australian Celebrations Training (and learning the ropes from one of Sydney’s top celebrants), I quickly discovered this job is about so much more than paperwork and public speaking. It’s about connection, intuition, and creating moments that genuinely matter.

Here’s what working with me is like:

  • You’ll feel heard, I’m here to listen and learn what makes your relationship unique.

  • You’ll get ideas, I’ve got plenty of readings, rituals, and fun ceremony twists to share.

  • You’ll feel organised, I handle all the legal stuff and guide you every step of the way.

  • You’ll feel calm, even if you’re nervous, I’ll help you feel confident and relaxed on the day.

  • You’ll probably have a laugh or two and maybe a happy tear (or ten).

Whether it’s your wedding day, renewing vows, or welcoming a new little human to the world, I’ll help create a ceremony that feels natural, joyful, and totally you.

Your ceremony should feel like you, relaxed, heartfelt, and full of meaning. I work closely with couples to create personalised wedding ceremonies that are warm, genuine, and legally sound, whether you're planning a big celebration or an intimate gathering.

Elopements

If you’re dreaming of something simple, personal and free of fuss, eloping might be perfect for you. Whether it’s just the two of you or a handful of loved ones, I’ll help you create a ceremony that feels intentional, romantic and true to who you are, no big production, just a quiet and meaningful celebration of your love.

Micro Weddings

For couples who want all the heart of a wedding, without the size of a big event, micro weddings are a beautiful way to celebrate with your closest people. I’ll help you design a ceremony that’s warm, intimate and thoughtful whether it’s in your backyard, a local venue or somewhere special outdoors.

Legal’s Only

If you're looking to make things official without a full ceremony, a legals-only service is the simple and stress-free option. We’ll meet at an agreed location, complete the required legal wording and paperwork, and I’ll take care of the lodgement. It’s quick, easy, and perfect for couples planning a bigger celebration later or just wanting to quietly make it official.

Renewal of Vows

There’s something incredibly special about looking back on the journey you’ve shared and choosing to say “I still do.” Whether you’re celebrating a milestone or simply want to honour your love in a heartfelt way, I’ll help you create a relaxed and beautiful ceremony that reflects your story and everything you've built together.

Maree was amazing from the moment I first called her, I just knew that with her everything would be easy and I wasn’t wrong.
